I need help installing Manim v0.19.0

I followed the steps on this site:

My manimations directory has the path:
"C:\Users\Connor\manimations"

Where do I save a Python file so I can start creating animations?
Do I save in "C:\Users\Connor\manimations"?

I am completely new to this so any help would be appreciated.

Are you using uv? If so, could you try and run uv run manim checkhealth and let it render the demo scene, does that work as expected?

that error message seems to be the result of Manim Sideview, which is a separate project with its own error reporting site. Try if you can run your Manim scripts from the command line in order to see if Manim itself was installed correctly.

I did this and everything passed and the auto scene rendered.
