[Bug]: ENS domain resolution for https://vitalik.eth going to app.ens.domains instead of IPFS site

Describe the bug

While MetaMask extension is on Ethereum mainnet, entering https://vitalik.eth into the browser address bar should take the user to: https://bafybeihjkbvr6xzqiacmazxq4fgmhhni7gaho7hnpkavnksjxiyxqdrbsu.ipfs.dweb.link/

This behavior has been observed in older versions (12.3).

But in 12.18.2 and 12.18.3, the user is taken to: https://app.ens.domains/vitalik.eth

Expected behavior

User should be taken to https://bafybeihjkbvr6xzqiacmazxq4fgmhhni7gaho7hnpkavnksjxiyxqdrbsu.ipfs.dweb.link/ as expected

Steps to reproduce

1. Make sure MetaMask Extension is running and the network is set to Ethereum mainnet
2. Type https://vitalik.eth into browser address bar and hit enter
3. Wait for the domain to resolve

This seems to impact 12.17.3 as well, so adjusting the regression label. I haven't tested any older than that.
