Although this page shows how to manipulate the Ribbon Editor to look at the main app's button collection, to be complete I think it needs to have a code illustration of how to manually add a button. This would reduce dev churn in trying to find the appropriate functions to call or at least give the dev a real starting point.

@rtischer8277 , thank you for contributing this code. I need to look at how to integrate this code example into the overall set of topics here because it won't run on its own. I'll need to think about that a bit but right now my priorities are elsewhere. I will come back to this when I can. I wanted you to know that I saw it.

I have gone back through the steps to create this problem and the problem has gone away. Or I made a mistake. In any case, the Tooltip and Description work as designed simply by using the Ribbon Editor to fill in the the Prompt field in the Main App Button's collection and creating the handler stub. The syntax is:
