Test JS libs after building

Just had this issue: #727, a bug that only appears after compiling. I find it worrisome that this class of issues can arise, since it means we can have a completely green testing pipeline while the published NPM assets are fundamentally broken.

I'm assuming it's possible to test this automatically.
