data-api-client for aws-sdk v3

Hi everyone!

I was using this data-api-client wrapper (https://www.npmjs.com/package/data-api-client) in my code. It seems it uses the aws-sdk v2 and there has been no update for aws-sdk v3.

I am currently in process of upgrading my code to aws-sdk v3 but unfortunately this data-api-client is being a big hiccup.
I was wondering if anyone has worked with it and upgraded to aws-sdk v3 successfully and if there are any newer alternatives to this wrapper that do the same thing but with aws-sdk v3.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
