Add the CAS package to Your Project

If you are using Unity 2018.4 or newer then you can add CAS SDK to your Unity project using the Unity Package Manager, or you can import the package manually.

Option 1 Unity Package Manager window

In your open Unity project, navigate to Window -> Package Manager -> + -> Add package from Git URL and add url:

Option 2 Modify manifest.json

Open YourProject/Packages/manifest.json file in any text editor and add line in dependencies scope:

{
"dependencies": {
"com.cleversolutions.ads.unity": "https://github.com/cleveradssolutions/CAS-Unity.git#2.9.3",
}
}

Option 3 Manual import unity package

  1. Download latest CleverAdsSolutions.unitypackage
  2. In your open Unity project, navigate to Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.
  3. In the Import Unity Package window, make sure all of the files are selected and click Import.

Add the External Dependency Manager for Unity

The CAS Unity plugin is distributed with the External Dependency Manager for Unity library. This library is intended for use by any Unity plugin that requires access to Android specific libraries (e.g., AARs) or iOS CocoaPods. It provides Unity plugins the ability to declare dependencies, which are then automatically resolved and copied into your Unity project.

  1. Download latest external-dependency-manager.unitypackage.
  2. In your open Unity project, navigate to Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.
  3. In the Import Unity Package window, make sure all of the files are selected and click Import.

Documentation comments issue with Assembly Definition

Unity still does not generate XML documentation for compiled assemblies in packages. It does however provide options to reference the package sources instead of the compiled assemblies, in which case the documentation will be picked up (and your editor will have to index more files).

  1. Go to Preferences > External Tools
  2. Check the Generate .csproj files for:
    • Git packages
  3. Press Regenerate project files button.
