You are welcome to draft new content for https://clojure-doc.org/articles/tutorials/basic_web_development/ but most of the changes that need to be made are switching from Leiningen to the Clojure CLI, changing how the new project is created (I really want this to be "from scratch" and not necessarily using a template), how dependency updates are handled, how the code is run, etc.

The actual code really won't change much (beyond switching from the old java.jdbc library to the new next.jdbc library) so the majority of the changes are likely to be in areas that I suspect someone new to Clojure is going to struggle most.

This has been rewritten to show how to build a basic web application from scratch using the Clojure CLI, deps.edn, build.clj, and tools.build. In addition, all the libraries have been brought up to date, next.jdbc is used instead of clojure.java.jdbc, and the application is built bottom-up so that code can always be evaluated without missing functions.
