A very simple Textmate Bundle was created to run directly your ruby processing project in textmate : [link][]
Alternatively install the jEdit community download [rp5.xml][] commando file and (create/run/watch/app) all from within the jEdit ide/editor. Another option for vim users is to run the sketch you are currently editing :!rp5 run %, there should also be way of creating a repl. There is even a [plugin][] for NetBeans (by the jruby guys) for the really serious.
