The previous link had an anchor to the gix-mailmap heading. Remove the anchor so that it leads to the top of the document instead.

Ok for Byron review the PR on video?

  • I give my permission to record review and upload on YouTube publicly

If I think the review will be helpful for the community, then I might record and publish a video.

the anchor so that it leads to the top of the document instead.

Thanks a lot for fixing this. This must have been broken for a while now.

My pleasure :) These things happen 😄 I just noticed it because I was clicking around catching up on the progress of gitoxide 😊

Good to know! crate-status.md is certainly good for a high-level overview, and the picture for what's planned can currently only be completed by looking at the various tracking issues. The current priority is getting proper checkouts, along with status functionality.

Thanks that's helpful!

For context, I'll be looking at the possibility of using gitoxide in the new iteration of Radicle protocol heartwood. We're running up against some issues with shelling out to the git CLI and want to have more control over the negotiation process for fetching and validating the data that is fetched.

That's exciting!

Please feel free to open a discussion if you have some specific questions, as gitoxide still has a lot of boxes unchecked when it comes to networking and validation of packs specifically. Driven by cargo there will be some movement regarding networking and validation this year for sure.
