Microsoft is committed to protecting the value of the software and benefits that the program’s legitimate subscribers receive for their investment. Microsoft implemented daily key claim limits for Visual Studio subscriptions. Daily key claim limits restrict the number of keys that can be claimed per day per subscription.

The daily key claim limit is 10 keys for most Visual Studio subscriptions, including keys offered through Microsoft Cloud Partner Network, BizSpark, MCT Software & Services, and MCT. Some other subscriptions have a daily key claim limit of seven keys.

If you claim the maximum number of keys available for your subscription within a 24-hour period, an error message informs you that your limit has been reached. The limit resets every 24 hours, starting at 12:01 AM Pacific Time.
