Having open to Xcode / AS on mac app

When we right. click on xcworkspace on iOS folder we can have "open in AS", but when we do the same on macOS folder we doesn't have the option.

Would be nice to be able to open xcworkspace independent of the parent folder.

@stevemessick is there something we could do to make this use case possible or is this just default Android Studio behavior we can't do anything about?

I'm not sure I understand the request. I just checked a new sample project. Every file and directory in the iOS directory has "Open iOS module in Xcode" on the menu and the command bar of the editor.

If the request is to make Xcode open a file, rather than the module/project, then we have a problem. We have not found a way to make Xcode start up with a specific file open for editing. If you know a way to do that we'd be glad to implement it.

No it's all good for iOS project, but not for macOS desktop project. That's it ^^ I want to have same option to open that project on xcode to edit it like I do for the iOS one.

Now I understand. Yes, this is something we should do. We need to improve our support for Web projects in general.
