_this.defaults.log() throws Illegal invocation

Here's the stack:

Also: _this.defaults.log === console.log === true

I thought removing .apply would fix it. Do you have thoughts as to why this happens? If you're using Angular, I it works if you set the log to $log.debug.

Also, I might need a plunker or something that demonstrates the issue. The tests use console.log and they pass...
