The description and comments of CDRIVER-4580 describe the motivation.
The proposed plan is to continue testing with macOS 10.14 until after 1.24.0 is released. After 1.24.0 is released, replace testing for macOS 10.14 with macOS 11.0. Community contributions may still be accepted for macOS 10.14 or macOS 10.15.
