Fix PHPLIB-1056

I checked all the methods to make sure that all the arguments have a defined. I used the syntax of the latest PHP versions but that's not a problem for the doc.

One suggestion but LGTM once that is applied.

Reminder to ensure the merge commit includes a "PHPLIB-1056:" prefix.

I can't merge because the psalm and phpcs jobs did not run.
