Specifying the Board Manager File

Installing Arduino IDE

• https://www.arduino.cc/en/software
  • Download the version of Arduino IDE that matches the type of PC you are using.
    • The example below describes the procedure for “Windows Win 7 and newer.”
      • At the time this Quick Start Guide was created, operation had been confirmed with version “Arduino IDE 1.8.19.”

Launching Arduino IDE

• Double-click the icon on the desktop to launch Arduino IDE.

Specifying the Board Manager File for the RL78/G23-64p Fast Prototyping Board

• Select File → Preferences and specify the following for Additional Boards Manager URLs:

  • RL78/G23-64p Fast Prototyping Board https://raw.githubusercontent.com/renesas/Arduino/master/hardware/package_index_rl78g23_fpb_p64_bundled.json

  • RL78/G15-20p Fast Prototyping Board https://raw.githubusercontent.com/renesas/Arduino/master/hardware/package_index_rl78g15_fpb_p20_bundled.json

  • RL78/G22-48p Fast Prototyping Board https://raw.githubusercontent.com/renesas/Arduino/master/hardware/package_index_rl78g22_fpb_p48_bundled.json

    •
