「スクリーン」という語は映写機の投影用の平面を連想させる。ここでのscreenという語の指している「画面、ディスプレイ」からずれているので変更した。
「バックグラウンド」という表現と、後ろの内容が釣り合わず、違和感を生じさせていたので変更した。(原文の内容は損なわない程度の変更であると考えられる。)
ここでは、ソースファイルはsrcディレクトリに存在する必要がある(MUST)から、「期待している」より「要求する」が適当なので、変更した。
もとの文では「意図的にリビルドしなかった」かのような表現になっており、また全体的に不自然な日本語だったため変更した。
元の表現では「変更を確認し、その後（最終ステップとして）ビルドを行う」というように取れてしまうので、混乱のない表現に変更した。
「コマンドの変形を使う」という表現が不自然であったため、文意を損なわない範囲で変更した。
もとの表現では「Cargoで即座に開発を始められる/骨組みだけのプロジェクト」なのか、「Cargoで/即座に開発を始められる骨組みだけのプロジェクト」なのか（実際は後者）が分かりにくかったため、混乱のない表現に変更した。
元の「一歩を踏み出した」という表現はこの先にまだ学ぶことが多くあることを示唆しているように感じられる。ここでの"get A down"は「（要領、コツなど）を飲み込む」という意味であり、その後に続く内容から考えても先述のようなニュアンスは存在しないと考えられるので、原文の文意を損なわない表現に変更した。
「〜が好み」という表現はその人が本来的にそのようなプリファレンスを持っている感じを与える。ここでの"prefer"という語はあくまで「ボトムアップな学び方に対して好む」ということを言いたいだけなので、原文の通りに動詞で訳すほうが適切であるから変更した。
全体的に表現が不自然であったため、原文の文意を損なわない程度に修正した。

今気づいたのですが、1.6から1.9に移行する際に、getting-started.mdについて今回の変更以外にも全体的に日本語が直されているようです。適用可能な部分はできる限りバックポートすればよいのでしょうか？ |
