Hi there, thanks for the PR! We'd rather not bump the required R version at this point, so we'll look into other ways around this issue. |

ggplot2will no longer install on R versions earlier than 4.0.0. This is due to a recursive dependency on lattice (via mgcv -> nlme).Lattice updated to require R >= 4.0.0 last year.
