This link should probably point to /platforms/javascript/configuration/filtering/#sampling
That being said, does sampleRate supersede tracesSampleRate?

That's a better link, thanks. I don't know the answer to your questions, @HazAT - which sample rate takes precedence?

Note comments on this content have been incorporated into #2336, which is a WIP to create global content. The remaining outstanding item is the correct link to filtering information, which will be fixed when the content is published. |
This PR modifies our Getting Started page to be crisp, specific, and focused on providing users with critical information to get them going with our SDK. It both removes walls of text and links to reference material that are important, but not critical to getting started.
This draft is a WIP for design feedback (though technical errors should be fixed if I've made them). If we like it, I will build it out for the JS children, then test across other platforms.
