I think it would be better to only update the files related to the specific patch that is forthcoming. To do all of the files is just too much churn. This is from my understanding of the developer policy https://llvm.org/docs/DeveloperPolicy.html#id20 "Avoid committing formatting- or whitespace-only changes outside of code you plan to make subsequent changes to"
