@vinser52, for the help - tests started failing. I verified locally that L0 from version v1.18.2 is failing with our tests - I can see the L0 loader spec has changed in that version (v1.10-v1.11)

In that case, we need our CI workers to have intel-level-zero-dev installed. In that case the versions of the L0 UMD driver and compute runtime should be consistent.

I tried to update the system, but level-zero-dev is already the newest version (1.16.15-881~22.04).. It seems we either have to:

  • upgrade the OS (not sure if there's newer packages there...?) [probably not the greatest idea, since we aim to test Ubuntu 22.04 for now]
  • install custom versions from sources...?
  • or just hold on with the upgrade of L0 loader version

I've bumped to the newest version v1.19.2 and updated the package on the runner - we should be fine in the CI after merging this one.
